The Teague Brothers

The Teague Brothers Band comes to The Rook as the second of our 2 Co-Emerging Artists of the Year (Hayden Haddock is the other). 

Led by U.S. Army veteran and songwriter John Teague, the Teague Brothers Band has become one of the most respected rising bands in the Texas music scene. Their sound blends Americana, folk, country, and rock ’n’ roll, with songs that are built for The Rook.

These guys have the respect of real songwriters and real music people. When Evan Felker, the lead singer of Turnpike Troubadours, first stepped back on stage after his lengthy hiatus, he sat in with the Teague Brothers. That says a lot.

Their song “Fire” is incredible, they are currently getting strong Texas radio airplay, and they are charting.

This is exactly why we created Emerging Artist of the Year. To give our members a front-row seat to artists on the rise before the rest of the world catches up.
