Shelby Ballenger is a 33 year old singer/songwriter from the small town of Princeton, TX. Her roots stem from her parent’s love of classic rock & 90s country. Fast forward, she’s found a combination of the two in her writing style. Her music fits into the Texas Country Scene because of its genuine sound and true to self lyrics. Influenced by Miranda Lambert, Stoney LaRue, Kelly Clarkson, and Kacey Musgraves, Shelby’s tone is one that can tell stories through song like the people she looks up to. She has opened for Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Wade Bowen, Lee Ann Womack, Josh Abbott, Casey Donahew, Pat Green, and other notable names all around Texas.
