Stag's Leap Cellars Wine Pairing and Five-Course Dinner

Join us for an unforgettable evening at The Rook as we host a five-course wine pairing dinner featuring the exquisite wines of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars. Experience the art of fine dining as our expert chefs craft a specially curated menu that perfectly complements the award-winning wines from one of Napa Valley’s most celebrated vineyards. A wine sommelier from Stag’s Leap Cellars will be present, offering insights and guidance throughout the evening, enhancing your appreciation of each pairing. The full dinner and wine pairing is priced at $120, plus gratuity. Seating is limited to 32 members.

Daniel Kirkland, a local favorite whose acoustic guitar performances are a true reflection of his deep passion for music, will serve as background for the pairing dinner. Daniel engages his audience, making each performance a memorable experience. His music invites listeners into his world, leaving a lasting impression with a genuine and heartfelt presence!

Hors D’Oeuvre

Grilled Peach Burrata over a peach mint jam and pine nuts with toast points.

Paired with Stags Leap Aveta, Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley.

Starter

Petite crab cakes atop frisee with a mustard lemon sauce served with purple asparagus tips.

Paired with Stags Leap Karia, Chardonnay from Napa Valley.

Salad

Watermelon and feta, arugula, red onion, heirloom tomatoes with red wine vinaigrette and mustard seed dressing.

Paired with Calafuria, Rose from Puglia, Italy.

Main Course

Cast iron seared French cut Lamb Chops dusted with pink peppercorn, soy ginger and served with roasted tricolor carrots over parsnip mash.

Paired with Antinori’s Castello della Sala, Pinot Nero from Umbria, Italy.

Dessert

House made chocolate cake rolled in a creamy white frosting with mascarpone, Italian maraschino cherries and finished with cherry jam drizzle.

Paired with Stags Leap Artemis, Cabernet from Napa Valley.
