EJ Miller Duo

EJ Miller has already made quite the impact at The Rook since being named our 3rd Musician in Residence. We first spotted him at Open Mic, and it was obvious early on that he had something. Then he came back with his full band, lit up a packed room, and confirmed it.

Since then, EJ has kept the momentum rolling, including earning a spot on the Texas Music Revolution Festival in McKinney. We love seeing that kind of rise from an artist we believed in early.

Whether he is pulling from Prince, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, Hank Jr., or Tom Petty, EJ has a way of moving across styles that feels natural, not forced. And his originals stand on their own right alongside the songs everyone already knows.
