Steve Anderson, a talented local musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, left a lasting impression during his first appearance at The Rook with Double Nickel—the duo version of his acclaimed band, Wooden Nickel. Known for their rich harmonies and versatile instrumentation, both Steve and Don are exceptional guitar players—Steve, in fact, is our own Brian Mincher’s guitar teacher. We’re pleased to welcome Double Nickel back for another special performance as part of our ‘Locals’ Music Series, where they’ll bring their distinctive blend of blues, folk, and roots rock to life.
