Derek Skelton

Derek Skelton is an emerging artist from the small town of Weaver, Alabama, who is steadily making his mark in the music scene with a unique blend of modern melodies and classic country storytelling. He is known for his smooth vocal tone and reminds us (vocally) of Morgan Wallen with a little less twang.  This is a very promising emerging talent. With 7 singles released to date, including his most recent track, ‘Old Days,’ Derek continues to grow his fan base and showcase his evolving artistry. His breakout single, ‘Can’t Outlove Me,’ earned him title of “2020 Off The Row Breakout Artist of the Year” and helped propel him into the spotlight. His music has garnered attention from respected publications like Worlds of Country, Buzz Music, and Today’s Country Magazine, further cementing his place in the industry. Beyond his music, Derek has an inspiring story as an Air Force veteran. As one of only 30 service members selected to be featured in the streaming series ‘Artisan Air,’ Derek’s story and talent were showcased alongside the creativity and unique contributions of Airmen and Guardians across the U.S. Air Force and Space Force.
