Born and raised in East Texas, Nacogdoches native Cole Stephens has had a life-long passion for music. Cole has built his sound on a mix of country, rock, and gospel influences, shaping what he calls Rock N’ Tonk—a high-energy blend of country and rock with deep Texas roots. Cole’s music has not only been shaped by church and his roots, but also from his early indoctrination to the music of Lane Staley (Alice in Chains), Steve Perry (Journey), Sammy Hagar, along with country singers George Strait and Toby Keith.

In high school, Cole frequented honky tonks and dance halls around East Texas to watch artists including Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum, Randy Rogers, and Cody Johnson. Cole fell in love with the Texas Country and Red Dirt music scenes. After graduating from high school, Cole got the opportunity to play a few shows around his home town. After his freshman year of college, he started writing, releasing original songs and cutting his teeth around Texas playing full band shows.

After making the leap to full-time music in 2024, Cole has been hitting the road, sharing stages with artists like Aaron Watson, Josh Ward, Tyler Halverson, Jon Stork and the legendary Tracy Byrd. Cole has his eyes set on growing even more in 2025 with plans to release an EP, along with continuing to tour and support all around Texas and the Southern United States.
